"Soft Universe" is the seventh track on the album Infections of a Different Kind - Step 1.[1]
Background[]
This song was written and produced with Couros Sheibani, Fiona Bevan and Jakwob during a 2017 songwriting camp in Bergen, Norway and it was played at the internal listening party there.[2] Of the four songs made at the camp, Soft Universe is the only one that was released. The writers set up 11 more days in May/June to write more songs.
About the song[]
In a response to a Q&A question, Aurora said about the song:
"It actually has to do with love... or the fight for love, amongst other things. [...] I was thinking about people fighting for what they believe in, [people] going in protest together to fight for a better world."[3]
